BioBlitz, Walk & Bushcare @Cleland National Park

Spring is a fantastic time to observe all kinds of flowering native shrubs including orchids in our Cleland National Park. We will be visiting the Carro Creek area with the app iNaturalist on our mobile phone to record our observations & to participate the Great Southern BioBlitz 2022 which is a snapshot study of all flora, fauna, fungi and even aquatic life in a particular area over a 3 day period.

We will meet at the Measly Lookout carpark, near Eagle of the Hill, and walk down to the Carro Track which runs beside a creek. We might see orchids on the way! Download the iNaturalist app before you come and try making a few observations! We will show you how to use iNaturalist to record & upload the observations. While we are there, you will also join us to perform our favourite activity weeding including Broom & Erica.

Equipment ======= Mobile phone with an app called iNaturalist (required if you want to upload your own observation to iNaturalist & learn how the app works). Sturdy shoes and water Internet connection
